Dantel Inc. Announces the Addition of Access Control Technology to Its Suite of Surveillance Products

Standards-based UL294-certified building access control solution strenghtens the WebMon and VisionMaster products

FRESNO, Calif. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – November 14, 2005

Dantel, Inc., the leader in network surveillance and management systems today announced the addition of a standards-based UL 294- certified building access control solution to its expanding suite of innovative surveillance and security products. The solution supports most standards-based card readers, keypads and biometrics devices.

"The addition of access control technology to our portfolio makes strategic sense," stated Alan Hutcheson, president and CEO of Dantel. "More customers are turning to Dantel for one-stop solutions for remote monitoring and management of network elements and building access, and we will offer a variety of cost leading solutions that provide the flexibility and scalability to address unique applications."

Dantel's access control technology solution will be incorporated into the WebMon Edge and WebMon Matrix surveillance appliances, and the VisionMaster network management software solution. WebMon products protect remote locations and assets by combining visual, discrete, analog and digital information into a common TCP/IP platform. WebMon access is available through wired and wireless networks, using Internet and Intranet applications.

UL 294 is both a safety and performance standard. UL 294 listed products should perform normally under abnormal functional use within a reasonable tolerance over and above specification.
