Dantel's DREN (Disaster Resistant Event Network) incorporates sensory event data, video, solar, and wireless WAN technology. The DREN, with Dantel's WebMon Edge as its heart monitors, controls, and protects any environment in which it is placed. It can monitor an almost infinite number of environments. It could be a canal, an agricultural diesel storage site, a bridge or a construction site.

DREN technology provides high speed data transfer over TCP/IP networks from remote sites, in environments with or without power lines or telephone lines. Key features include Ethernet and wireless connectivity, ping network devices, discrete alarms, analog alarms and control relays. DREN options include terminal server ports, IP cameras with pan, tilt and zoom, motion detection, zone of interest monitoring, solar reflectors with insulation, AC power distribution, DC power distribution with battery charger and solar panels and battery back-up.
